Freedom worker

 

I begun this work with an idea

that had most to do with freedom,

to create in freedom,

to create freedom

 

However monstrous

it would make me feel

to stand distinct from the current,

have my own way.

 

I was warned

I would feel godless and alone,

but I saw the worth of the work in its meaning,

my purpose in its procreation

 

So I defied the warning

and paid the price,

but to function with purpose

is reward and reason enough.
